Dr. dr. I Ketut Mariadi, SpPD, K-GEH, FACG, FINASIM
I Ketut Mariadi was born in Tabanan, on October 22, 1978. He completed his medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, in 2003. He graduated from the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the same university in 2009. In 2016, he obtained his subspeciality in Gastroentero-Hepatology from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. He earned his Doctorate degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, in 2022.
He has been working at Ngoerah Hospital since 2010 and serves as a staff member in the Department of Internal Medicine. Currently, he holds the position of Coordinator of the Internal Medicine Residency Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Denpasar.
I Ketut Mariadi has completed extensive advanced short courses and international training programs in gastroenterology and digestive endoscopy. His advanced training includes specialized expertise in Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR).
He has received several prestigious recognitions, including the Young Investigator Awards in Gastroenterology, as well as international and regional scholarships and professional acknowledgements from leading gastroenterology organizations. He is also actively involved in producing high-quality scientific publications and is the founder of the Centre for Research on the Alimentary and Hepatobiliary System (CRABS).
He is currently an active member of several national professional medical societies, including the Indonesian Medical Association, the Indonesian Society of Internal Medicine, the Indonesian Association for the Study of the Liver, the Indonesian Association of Gastroenterology, and the Indonesian Association of Digestive Endoscopy. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.
