Staff Recruitment Procedure
The Specialist Study Program in Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, together with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, establishes the standards for lecturers and educational staff that will serve as guidelines and benchmarks for the faculty leadership, study program, and other unit leaders in planning, managing, and developing human resources within the Specialist Study Program in Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 44 of 2015, the standards for lecturers and educational staff represent the minimum criteria regarding the qualifications and competencies of lecturers and educational staff in order to deliver education that fulfills the graduates’ learning outcomes. These standards must refer to the graduate competency standards, learning content standards, and learning process standards.
Lecturers of the Specialist Study Program in Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, possess academic qualifications and teaching competencies, are physically and mentally healthy, and have the required competencies to provide education aimed at achieving graduate learning outcomes. Lecturers of the Specialist Study Program in Internal Medicine must hold qualifications as Subspecialist (Consultant), Doctoral, or Applied Doctoral graduates relevant to the specialist program. The appointment, placement, development, and dismissal of lecturers in the Specialist Study Program in Internal Medicine are carried out through a mechanism involving collaboration between the Rector of Udayana University, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the Director of the Main Teaching Hospital, the Program Coordinator, and the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. They must also have at least two (2) years of work experience in Internal Medicine.
Educational staff must have a minimum academic qualification of a diploma-3 (D3) graduate, proven by a diploma, in accordance with their main duties and functions, with the following provisions:
a. Educational staff requiring special expertise must possess a competency certificate relevant to their field of duty and expertise.
b. Educational staff requirements do not apply to administrative staff.
c. Administrative staff must have at least a senior high school (SMA) or equivalent academic qualification.
The Coordinator of the Specialist Study Program in Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, in collaboration with the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and/or the Director of the Main Teaching Hospital, promotes the improvement of academic qualifications and competencies of educational staff to support the implementation of the tri dharma of higher education.
